The Ramadan season is nearing an end, and despite being dramatically rich, it was disappointing in a big way, so that the works that won the approval of the public did not complete the fingers of one hand.
As usual every year, Yousra appeared in a new series to compete with him, before critics and the public classified him as one of the worst works this season, and these are the reasons:
The bet is on the content
"Betrayal of Ahed" is the work presented by Yousra last year, and although it was not a wonderful artist, it achieved great public success as it was then issued by the "trend" on social media platforms.
And it seems that this success encouraged his industry to invest it and choose to bet on the content, not only by recruiting the work team itself, but also by reproducing the plot in a large and criticizing manner.
On the one hand, he starred in the two series with the same actress, the production company (Al-Adl Group), the author Ahmed Adel, director Sameh Abdel Aziz, director of photography Youssef Baroud, and soundtrack maker Adel Hakki.
They are the same idea and dramatic narration.
On the other hand, the plot revolved around a successful woman who loved those around her, who was surprised by her betrayal from the closest people to her and the hatred of her family members, so she decided to take revenge, and with time the major deception was revealed, followed by the death of a character close to the heroine, after which events completely change.

Although "Civil War" was better luck, as it included more talented and popular heroes, headed by Basil Khayat, Arwa Joudeh, and Jamila Awad and Rushdi al-Shami, but the makers of the work fell into boredom and repetition, which caused a rift the audience felt.
Sleazy scenario and naive story
Far from the trap of repetition, the script of the series was sloppy and full of unexplained or understandable gaps, the sequence of events is technically poor, and the knot on which the artistic plot was built from the original could have been completely destroyed by the heroine to cancel the general power of attorney that she granted to her husband without having to wait for him to seize her property And then take revenge on him in an unimaginable way.
With nearly half of the episodes over and the hero discovering the truth of the plot that had orchestrated him, he decides to take his role in the circle of revenge in order to fill the thirty episodes, which depends on him blackmailing his wife, as he threatens her with intimate videos that he collects with her during their marriage. To blackmail him and withdraw from the divorce, to add to the dramatic lines a new, unconvincing line.
Truncated tales
In addition to the above, the series included many amputated stories, whether not important at all, such as the addiction story of Bassel Khayat's sister, or the one that attracted attention and then suddenly disappeared and the audience did not know the rest of it, like the stories of beautiful friends Awad who caused the ruin of their lives.
Even the important details were skipped by the author and director, so we did not understand, for example, how the lover of one of the girls managed to take over the computer of Jamila Awad, or why the latter did not mourn the death of her father - who lived with him for a whole life without her mother - except for a few hours that ended with her travel to El Gouna in order to improve her mood. ?
Lackluster performance
All of this could have been overcome if the work carried at least some technical positives, but unfortunately it was bad, both at the level of directing or photography, and acting, which is the most important.
Beginning with Yusra, who appeared absent-minded throughout the scenes and lost focus, and Bassel Khayyat, whom none of his fans expected this unusual level of, so that some were unable to know the secret of his acceptance of this role, passing through Arwa Quality, which was always distinguished by the good choice of her roles, which was not It is achieved, which some interpreted as not being the first choice for the role, as it was preceded by Haifa Wehbe, who apologized, followed by Sarah Al-Tunisi, who filmed many of the scenes already before the makers abandoned her and replaced her with Arwa shortly before Ramadan, and this is why the last one did not succeed in assuming the character or The embodiment of her emotions.
Down to Jamila Awad, the only one whose role was new and really important, and on that she was constantly spoiled by her emotions and looks, whatever the position she presented.
Finally, Cynthia Khalifeh, who was hired by Al Adl Group to play the traitorous lover / girlfriend in the two series "Civil War, Against Fracture".
Which the audience found ironic, as if this is the only role she knows, even if she did not find either of them.

Negative ratings
In light of all the negatives included in the work, perhaps with the exception of Rushdie Al-Shami's performance, it was not surprising that the series received negative evaluations from critics, or that Yusra sits on the throne of the fifth and last place - with a large difference between it and the place that precedes it - within a referendum that relied on official Google statistics for the best Egyptian stars this season.
