Weißwasser (dpa / sn) - After a fire in the former Weißwasser cultural center, the police have determined three suspects.

The police said on Thursday that there were two young people and one adolescent.

No information was given about the exact age of the trio.

The fire in April caused millions of euros in damage.

Around 200 firefighters had fought the flames for hours.

According to the current status of the investigation, the suspects set fire to chairs and tarpaulins that they had found in the rooms of the cultural center.

How the accused got into the inside of the building, according to the information, still requires further evaluation of traces and is still the subject of the investigation.

As it was said, further criminal offenses were cleared up through the investigation into the fire, including property damage and vandalism in the Pückler Park in Bad Muskau.

The suspects identified for this purpose are several people between the ages of 11 and 15, but they are not the suspects of the arson.
