The Liberals believe that the Social Democrats choose not to do everything they can to support and help the students who now have problems.
Instead, you leave it as usual with the regular summer school.
In addition, it is only the students who have applied for summer jobs within the municipality that are taken into account and not all students who have received summer jobs at, for example, private activities, the party believes.
Extra paid
The decision now excludes all students who go to high school and will go on to university.
Those students are referred to adult education.
Thomas Söderström believes that the municipality, for example, could have offered teachers extra pay to be able to complete summer school.
- It would have been possible to give a higher salary to make this effort.
