When Dokument from within reporter Jasper Lake started a Facebook group for old students at the experimental Waldorf school Solvikskolan in Järna, difficult memories of bullying began to flow in.

Nemi attended Solvikskolan in Järna during the years 1993–2000.

She tells about how she could hide in the woods outside the school all school days to escape bullying.

- Those who wanted to bully me had a free hunting season.

Everyone was allowed to do what they wanted.

It became a bit like the lord of the flies, she says in the first episode of Documents from within - The chosen children.

She is far from alone in her memories of how pedagogy and the children's total freedom at school led to a harsh culture of bullying.

"Do not believe in those memories"

Pär Ahlbom, founder and former teacher who is still involved in Solvikskolan, calls the accusations "bullshit".

He believes that there has always been less bullying at Solvikskolan than at other schools.

- I do not believe in those memories, we have always taken bullying very seriously.

It's fake news, he says in the documentary.

Watch the entire first part of Documents from within the documentary series The Selected Children on Thursday 6 May at 20.00 on SVT1 or already now on SVT Play.
