Los Angeles (AP) - Oscar winner Julie Andrews (85) will receive another high award for her services as an actress and singer.

On November 11th, the star will receive the honorary lifetime achievement award from the renowned American Film Institute (AFI).

The gala will be held at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, where the Oscars are traditionally awarded.

The AFI award originally planned for 2020 had been canceled due to the corona pandemic last year.

"Julie Andrews has entertained the world for generations," said AFI chairman Bob Gazzale in a statement.

More than ever, the association is looking forward to recognizing her many talents and the joy she has spread.
