Berlin (dpa / bb) - Health Senator Dilek Kalayci has announced that digital test evidence will soon be offered at all Berlin test sites.
The digital variant is also a central project at the federal level.
"We are in regular contact with the Federal Ministry of Health," said the SPD politician on Thursday in the House of Representatives.
The digital test evidence is now technically possible via the Corona warning app.
"We are currently creating the conditions for this with all of the test sites that we have in Berlin."
Appropriate software must be available there.
The second component is the digital proof of vaccination.
The Federal Ministry of Health announced a corresponding free app for the second half of the second quarter.
In addition, both the Corona warning app and the Luca app should be able to be used for this.
“It is planned by the federal government that the vaccination data will then be made available to the person who has been vaccinated via a barcode in medical practices, hospitals and vaccination centers,” explained Kalayci.
Because not everyone has a smartphone, both will of course be possible in the future - the digital version and the analog vaccination card.
