Kiel (dpa / lno) - According to the German Hotel and Restaurant Association (Dehoga), the hotel and catering businesses in Schleswig-Holstein are very happy to be able to reopen on May 17th.
"Because the previous opening only for outdoor catering has not led to the success that the companies wanted, given the weather," said the managing director of Dehoga in Schleswig-Holstein, Stefan Scholtis, of the German press agency on Thursday.
From the point of view of politics, it is logical and consistent that corona tests are required as in the model regions.
"We wish the companies that the step no longer goes back, but that it only goes up now," said Scholtis.
It is difficult to say how many companies will not survive the crisis.
There will be companies that are no longer able to continue their operations.
Against the background of falling incidence values, Schleswig-Holstein wants to allow far-reaching easing of the corona restrictions from May 17.
Among other things, accommodation providers and restaurants will then be allowed to reopen under strict conditions.
The model regions in the country serve as a model.
