When the Battle of Aleppo broke out in July 2012, Médecins Sans Frontières was not authorized to intervene in Syria.
The NGO is therefore opening a clandestine hospital in Atmeh, near the Turkish border.
But the many injured in Aleppo do not make it that far, and no one understands why.
Hakim Khaldi, then a young project coordinator at MSF, is responsible for carrying out the investigation.
Where are the combatants treated?
How to reach the rebel zone?
And what is really going on there?
In the Première Ligne podcast, produced by Europe 1 Studio in partnership with MSF, Hakim Khaldi recounts this risky operation in the Syrian chaos.
