The school today needs certainties and we are at work for this. With the support decree we have already given 150 million to schools for health security. Now, in agreement with General Figliuolo, we are restarting vaccinations for all school staff: we are at 70%, in September we will have all vaccinated ", specifies the minister.

The reduction in the number of students per class is part of a new design of the school system that we are working on and that we already have foreseen in the National Recovery and Resilience Plan. In inland and mountain areas we have the opposite problem: not being able to compose the classes because the students decrease due to the birth rate. In any case, we will move towards progressively reduced classes as early as next year ". The minister recalls that" for September "the staffing of teachers was" confirmed, even in the face of a reduction in pupils "." Furthermore, we have already allocated one billion and 125 million to the provinces to intervene on the construction and safety of high schools ", he specifies.
