Hamburg / Mannheim (dpa / lno) - The hockey ladies of the Hamburger Club on the Alster see themselves well prepared for the semi-final duel for the German championship against the Düsseldorf HC.

"I see four teams at eye level, where on the one hand the form of the day and on the other hand the ripped-off will be decisive," said Alster national player Anne Schröder before the game on Saturday (10:00 am).

The host Mannheimer HC and Rot-Weiss Köln will contest the second semifinals.

Alster and the DHC faced each other in the last final so far in 2019.

At that time, the Hamburg women won 4-2.

The year before, the Hanseatic women had defeated the DHC 4-3 in the semifinals.

Both games were only decided in the penalty shootout.

"The game will certainly be very, very close again," presumed Schröder.

Alster trainer Jens George said: "We just know each other too well."

DHC trainer Nico Sussenburger, meanwhile, announced the end of the negative series against the defending champion: "We are ready to beat Alster this time."

The final will take place on Sunday from 1 p.m.
