Dortmund (AP) - The handball players of the Thuringian HC have missed the seventh win in a row in the Bundesliga.

The team of trainer Herbert Müller had to admit defeat on Wednesday evening at the league leaders and designated German champions Borussia Dortmund with 29:38 (14:18).

Marketa Jerabkova was the best thrower at the loser with nine goals.

Despite the eighth defeat of the season, the THC remains fifth in the table (37:17 points).

Over long stretches of the first half, the Thuringians forced an even game, but had to let it go shortly before the break because BVB developed an enormous attack force.

After the break, the dominant hosts quickly made things clear and in the meantime even gained a double-digit lead.
