The rich countries of the G7 pledged on Wednesday to financially support the system for sharing anti-Covid Covax vaccines "to allow a rapid and fair deployment" of doses, without announcing additional aid.

In the final communiqué of their meeting in London, the heads of diplomacy of Germany, Canada, the United States, France, Italy, Japan and the United Kingdom say "recognize that a sufficient funding is needed ”for international mechanisms, to express concern about the lack of available funds.
