Cologne (dpa / lnw) - In connection with the storming of the town house in Cologne-Deutz by left-wing autonomists in January 2019, a criminal case against a 27-year-old against payment of 100 euros was suspended in the local court on Wednesday.

During the action by supporters of the Autonomous Center and the "trailer scene", the city's administrative operations were disrupted for hours.

A police operation had ended the action.

Specifically, the allegation against the 27-year-old was to have stolen four multiple tickets for the Cologne transport company worth around 50 euros while occupying the building department's premises.

The man denied the allegations.

On the day of the crime he took part in a “critical city walk” that ended in the foyer of the town hall.

The tickets were there on a table and he was told he could help himself.

Since the admission could not be invalidated due to the lack of witnesses and the damage caused was minor, the proceedings were discontinued.
