Dresden (dpa / sn) - After the announcement of relief for corona vaccinated and convalescent people, the Saxony Trade Association is pushing for clear regulations.

It is correct to equate these in the future with those who have tested negatively, said chief executive René Glaser on Wednesday of the German press agency.

However, the question of control now arises for retailers.

"If this is not clearly clarified, the staff are threatened with conflicts and discussions at the shop doors."

It must be clearly regulated under which conditions retailers are allowed to let customers into the shops.

The association called for digital evidence for those who have recovered and those who have been vaccinated.

"We have to avoid as much paperwork as possible," said Glaser.

Nevertheless, there must be a paper solution for people without smartphones.

Politicians should not leave the industry alone with the long-known challenges.

Saxony's Minister of Health Petra Köpping (SPD) announced on Tuesday after the cabinet meeting that people who have been fully vaccinated against Corona and those who have recovered will receive more freedom with the new state regulation from May 10: They should be treated like those who tested negative.

Saxony wants to be the first federal state to enable the legally secure use of the Corona warning app for digital contact tracking.
