London (AP) - The British Prince William (38) and Duchess Kate (39) are increasing their presence in social networks.

The couple launched an official channel on Google's YouTube video platform on Wednesday.

"We are now on Youtube," announced the couple on Twitter.

The two members of the Royal Family can be seen at official appointments and meetings with celebrities in a 25-second, fast-cut clip that is intended to serve as an incentive.

In the future, exclusive videos of the future king and his wife will be shown on the channel.

Less than an hour after the announcement, the channel already had around 24,000 subscribers.

Trend: rapidly increasing.

In the first clip, William points into the camera and says to Kate: "Be careful what you say, these people are filming everything," to which the Duchess laughingly replies, "I know".

Elsewhere, Kate advises her husband not to keep rolling the letter "R".

The royal couple has been represented on Twitter and Instagram for a long time.

The establishment of your own YouTube platform is considered a step towards increasing its public visibility even further.

William's brother Harry and his wife, Duchess Meghan, had given up their accounts in the social networks after their withdrawal from the royal family.
