Düsseldorf (dpa / lnw) - NRW Health Minister Karl-Josef Laumann (CDU) wants to be vaccinated with Astrazeneca by his family doctor soon.
He himself is 63 and therefore “the right candidate for this vaccine,” Laumann said on Wednesday in Düsseldorf.
He thinks Astrazeneca is a "very good vaccine".
Laumann emphasized that the general practitioners would now be given very many doses of the vaccine in question.
People over 60 should therefore register there for a vaccination with Astrazeneca.
In the vaccination centers there will initially be no offer for over 60-year-olds outside of special professional groups.
Laumann called it a question of solidarity that people should first leave more than 60 other vaccines such as Biontech to younger people.
