Wiesbaden (dpa / lhe) - Hesse is significantly easing the corona restrictions for fully vaccinated people.

"Anyone who is fully vaccinated or who has survived a corona infection in the last six months will be treated equally to those who have tested negative and will no longer be included in the contact restrictions in the future," said Prime Minister Volker Bouffier (CDU) on Wednesday in Wiesbaden after a meeting of the Corona cabinet.

The restrictions on visits to old people's and nursing homes will also be relaxed for those who have recovered or have been vaccinated in Hesse: For these people, the obligation to test before entering the homes is no longer required, said Bouffier.

There is no longer a mask requirement for her in the rooms.
