Dortmund (dpa / lnw) - The fire brigade caught two kangaroos in Dortmund on Wednesday.
The two animals had escaped from an enclosure in which they were kept together with five conspecifics.
Walkers had alerted the fire department.
According to the fire brigade, the kangaroos initially escaped the officers' access by jumping over the garden fence.
Eventually, however, the firefighters managed to drive them back to their pasture.
It turned out that a fence element had been loose there.
