Berlin (dpa / bb) Two residents were injured in an apartment fire in the Berlin district of Kreuzberg.
In the apartment, several furnishings were on fire on Wednesday evening, as a fire department spokesman announced.
Both residents, one with serious injuries, were taken to hospital.
According to its own information, the fire brigade was on site with 25 emergency services.
Details of the cause of the fire were initially not known.
