A draft ban on equalizing the roles of the USSR and Germany in the war was submitted to the State Duma

The authors of the initiative are the head of the Committee on Culture Elena Yampolskaya, the first vice-speaker of the State Duma Alexander Zhukov and Senator Alexey Pushkov.

They propose to prohibit in a public speech, the media, the Internet, identifying the goals, decisions and actions of the Soviet leadership, command and military personnel with the Nazis, and also to deny the decisive role of the Soviet people in the defeat of Nazi Germany and the humanitarian mission of the USSR in the liberation of European countries.
