Stade (dpa / lni) - The storm over Lower Saxony has blown a children's trampoline onto the railway line between Stade and Hamburg and forced an S-Bahn to stop.

As the police announced on Wednesday, the train driver was able to bring his train to a stop in front of the Horneburg train station on Tuesday afternoon.

Nobody got hurt.

The trampoline was apparently not attached to a neighboring property in a storm-proof manner and then blown down an embankment onto the tracks.

Until the Horneburg fire brigade cleared the route, the train traffic had to wait in both directions.

On Tuesday, the storm "Eugen" swept over northern Germany and caused numerous fire services.
