Since last April 17, the French Police have followed the footsteps of a man of Spanish nationality who made headlines after a video went viral in which he is seen pushing a woman down the stairs at the
Porte de la Chapelle
metro station
, in
Paris
.
The police themselves announced their arrest and expulsion to Spain on their Twitter account, sharing a publication by the Minister of Citizenship, Marlène Schiappa, who called the aggression "inadmissible": "Street harassment and disgusting physical aggression," he tweeted.
After the video was broadcast, the Police had invited the victim to come and file a complaint.
He did so and the arrest took place in a Roma camp in the city of
Osny,
northwest of Paris, reports
Le Parisien.
The woman reported at the police station that she had borrowed a mobile phone from an acquaintance, before receiving a call from the owner, who wanted to get it back.
She met him at 7:30 p.m. at the
Porte de la Chapelle
metro station
.
In the images that have gone viral, it is indeed possible to see how the woman throws a telephone on the ground before hitting her interlocutor.
So, he pushes her down the stairs.
