Mexican President announced three days of mourning in connection with the disaster in the subway

"A three-day national mourning is announced because of the tragedy on the 12th line <...> of the Mexico City metro," the El Universal edition quotes the text of the corresponding presidential decree.

Earlier, a metro bridge with a train on it collapsed in Mexico City.

24 people were killed, another 79 were injured.
