Zwickau (dpa / sn) - In Zwickau, a fire broke out in the basement of an apartment building.
The police assume that strangers set fire to a mattress in the basement on Tuesday, as a spokesman for the Zwickau police department announced.
Since the fire set off the alarm system, all residents were able to escape the house independently.
Nobody was hurt.
The property damage was initially unknown.
The fire damaged sewers and power lines.
