Ulm (dpa / lsw) - Because he is said to have raped and sexually abused two minors, a 37-year-old has to answer before the Ulm Regional Court from today.

The then 22-year-old defendant is accused of kidnapping and sexually abusing a 13-year-old in the city of Ulm in 2006, according to a spokesman for the court.

In 2007 the defendant in Heidenheim is said to have kidnapped and sexually abused a then twelve-year-old in the same way.

After his deeds, he is said to have dropped the children in parking lots outside the cities.

He is also accused of possessing and distributing images of severe child sexual abuse.

The public prosecutor's office accuses the man of particularly serious rape, sexual abuse of children and extortionate kidnapping.

In addition, the accused must answer for the possession and distribution of child and youth pornographic files - content showing sexual violence or rape of minors.

One of the two alleged victims is a joint plaintiff in the proceedings.

Twelve days of negotiations are planned until mid-July.
