Fuldabrück (dpa / lhe) - The fire in a row house in Fuldabrück (Kassel district) caused damage of an estimated 300,000 euros on Tuesday night.
The couple who lived in the house were able to leave the building in time, the police said in the morning.
One of the two spouses and a neighbor suffered minor injuries from smoke gas and were taken to a hospital.
Further information about the injured was initially not known.
According to the police spokesman, the fire brigade was still in use on Tuesday morning.
The fire brigade is trying to prevent the flames from spreading to neighboring buildings.
The row house in which the fire broke out was seriously damaged.
How it came to the fire was initially unclear.
The criminal police have reportedly started investigating the cause of the fire.
