There are three different types of UV radiation, UVA, UVB and UVC.

It is the UVA radiation that makes up the largest part of the UV radiation, and it is also the one that is most dangerous.

- It goes deeper into the skin, can destroy skin cells and cause skin cancer, says SVT's meteorologist Deana Bajic.
