For the trial before the Cologne Regional Court, four trial days are scheduled until May 14th.

The Bonn district court sentenced the rejected asylum seeker from Ghana to ten years imprisonment for particularly serious rape and extortion by predatory acts.

According to the verdict, in 2017 he attacked a young couple who were camping in the Siegaue near Bonn.

He threatened the victims with a pruning saw and raped the woman.

The act had caused horror nationwide.
