Altenbeken (dpa / lnw) - Two four-year-old boys had an accident with a motorized children's quad.
In the accident on a fenced commercial property in Altenbeken (Paderborn district) on Monday evening, one of the boys suffered head injuries and was taken to the hospital, the police said on Tuesday.
Both children wore helmets and sat together on the four-wheeled vehicle, whose speed is limited to 20 km / h according to a father who was present.
One of the tots stated that the accident happened when the quad was stationary.
His passenger was about to get off the car, but hit the throttle and the vehicle sped forward.
So the quad hit a closed property gate.
