Hamburg (dpa / lno) - Even if the corona incidence values in Hamburg are currently developing favorably, the Senate is sticking to its restrictive course.

"The Senate would like to give a reliable perspective on how things can go on," said Senate spokesman Marcel Schweitzer on Tuesday at the state press conference.

Should the seven-day incidence in Hamburg be below 100 for at least five days in a row, "loosening would be conceivable, insofar as the infection process allows it".

On Tuesday, the seven-day incidence in Hamburg rose again above the important 100 mark.

After the value, according to calculations by the city, fell below 100 for the first time since mid-March at 98.6 on Monday, it was 100.9 on Tuesday, as the health authority announced.

Compared to the previous week, that's a decrease of 13.4.

Schweitzer emphasized that there would be no automatic mechanism for easing.

The Senate will meet for a special session this Friday and then present a timetable for how things could continue.

Schweitzer mentioned the lifting of the exit restriction from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., easing of the day-care center and school area and consideration of the special position of fully vaccinated people as possible easing.

For example, the compulsory test for visits to the hairdresser or the like could be omitted here.
