Essen (dpa) - Because of increased chromium values on the outsole and a leather patch, the company Grohmann Schuhimport GmbH from Salzburg has recalled baby crawling shoes.

The product “Walkx Baby crawling shoes, felt” was traded in a campaign on February 11, 2021 at Aldi Nord, said the portal Lebensmittelwarnung.de on Tuesday.

The discounter stated in a customer information sheet that there was no direct skin contact with the product, but that chromium (VI) could trigger allergies in the event of unintentional contact.

The article had been taken off the market, explained Aldi Nord.

Customers could bring the product back to the stores and the purchase price would be reimbursed.
