It is dedicated to the storming of Berlin and the soldiers of the Red Army who died in the fight against Nazism at the final stage of the Great Patriotic War.

The section contains materials from the funds of the Central Archives of the Ministry of Defense, including the registration card of the memorial complex in Treptow Park, documents from the personal file of one of the creators of the memorial, combat logs of units and subdivisions of the 1st Belorussian Front, award lists, descriptions of the heroic deeds of the fighters and commanders.

Archival documents included in the exposition of the multimedia section have been declassified and published as part of the No Statute of Limitations project, implemented on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Earlier it was reported that the Investigative Committee of Russia is working on the issue of creating a joint investigation team with Germany to investigate the crimes of the Nazis during the Great Patriotic War.
