Berlin (dpa / bb) - The corona incidence is falling again in Berlin: After a slight increase at the weekend, the number of infected people per 100,000 inhabitants on Monday was 121.7.

On Sunday it was 122.9.

The number of registered corona infected people since the beginning of the pandemic rose by 550 to 169,565, according to the management report of the Senate Department for Health.

Twelve more people died, bringing the total number of deaths to 3,228.

The 100 mark is an important threshold for the federal emergency brake. If the value is below this for five days in a row, the corona rules can be relaxed again, for example in retail.

Since the Federal Emergency Brake came into force, the incidence value has been based on data from the Robert Koch Institute.

The situation in Berlin's intensive care units is almost unchanged: 26 percent of the intensive care beds are currently occupied by Covid-19 patients;

after 25.8 percent the previous day.

The critical threshold is 25 percent.

As with the seven-day incidence, Berlin is still in the red here.
