Scharbeutz (dpa) - On May 1st, the Baltic Sea will celebrate its culinary specialty, the fish sandwich, with World Fish Roll Day.
But instead of the usual in the places along the Schleswig-Holstein coast, the day will only take place on the Internet this year due to the corona pandemic.
If people could not come to World Fish Roll Day, the day would have to come to the people, said Simone Dikow from Baltic Sea Holstein Tourism.
According to the information on Facebook and Instagram, there will be reports and reports about the fish sandwich under “@ Ostsee.sh”.
World Fish Bread Day has been celebrated on the Baltic coast of Schleswig-Holstein and on the lakes in Holstein Switzerland since 2011.
