The "Iraqis for Al-Aqsa" team launched a campaign in a number of Baghdad's mosques in support of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The team said that it had mobilized its field and electronic efforts "in support of our people in Jerusalem, after the increase in the occupation violations in Palestine in general and Jerusalem in particular, and the settlers promised to make massive incursions into the Al-Aqsa Mosque on the 28th of Ramadan."

The campaign - titled "From Iraq to Al-Aqsa, hearts adore the Masra" - included the distribution of awareness leaflets about Al-Aqsa Mosque, with breakfast meals for fasting people in a number of Baghdad mosques, and "asking them to pray for our people in Jerusalem and Palestine," according to the team.
From the Imam Abu Hanifa al-Nu'man Mosque in the city of Adhamiya, the "Iraqis for Al-Aqsa" team sent a message to the stationers in Bayt Al-Maqdis "to thwart the Zionist attack on Al-Aqsa on the 28th of Ramadan. By God, the eyes of Muslims are watching you and wishing to be in the place you are.
The team added, "We tell you, by God, that you have brothers in Iraq who are tightening your hands and yearning for your victory. By God, we will support you even if they love to be on your knees."
The city of Jerusalem in general, and the Al-Aqsa Mosque in particular, have been witnessing since the beginning of the current month of Ramadan, skirmishes between Palestinian youths and Israeli forces, due to the occupation forces' attempts to prevent the annual Ramadan gatherings and activities in the city center.
