China News Service, April 29. According to "Central News Agency", European Commission President Von der Lein recently stated that the "sofa door" disturbance during his visit to Turkey was caused by "gender."

Turkey responded that the incident was "caused by EU political infighting" and "has nothing to do with (von der Lein) being a European or a woman".
