Crowded at the taverns
Now several major weekends await.
The spring sun is looking ahead and the outdoor cafes have opened their doors.
Last weekend, it was more or less completely crowded at the restaurants along Kungsgatan in central Karlstad.
- There is a pent-up need to be seen, to get out, especially now in spring and early summer.
This is what it usually looks like, says Anna Skogstam.
But she thinks it is important that if you choose to go out to a restaurant, do not go too many in a party and make sure to choose places that follow the restrictions.
But preferably she would like to see people wait a bit to go out on the premises.
Worst in western Värmland
The most common spread is still at home and in the family.
Then comes the workplace and social contexts, ie private parties.
And the worst affected right now in Värmland are Årjäng and Arvika municipalities.
In Årjäng, the spread of infection has mainly taken place via some slightly larger workplaces, while Arvika seems to have a more general spread of infection.
Earlier in the spring, it was mainly young adults aged 20-29 who suffered from corona, but in the past week, infection control Värmland sees that the 50-59-year-olds increase the most.
