Düsseldorf (dpa / lnw) - The seven-day value for new corona infections has fallen slightly again in North Rhine-Westphalia.
According to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), it was 171.2 on Thursday, 178.2 on Wednesday, and 186.6 infections per 100,000 inhabitants in seven days on Tuesday.
However, NRW is still well above the nationwide value of currently 154.9.
According to the RKI, 5,419 people were newly infected within 24 hours in North Rhine-Westphalia, and the number of deaths rose nationwide by 60 to 15,435.
In the districts and independent cities, only Münster (91.3), Coesfeld (85.2) and Höxter (74.2) were below the critical mark of 100. If a municipality is above this value for three days in a row, the so-called takes effect Federal emergency brake - for example with exit restrictions.
The incidence was highest on Thursday at 293.7 in Remscheid.
