Wörth / Karlsruhe (dpa) - The railway line between Wörth and Karlsruhe, which was closed after the derailment of two freight train wagons, is free again.

"Since about 2:45 p.m., the line has been double-tracked," said a railway spokeswoman on Thursday.

However, this Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. due to work, a single-track operation is required again.

On Monday, one wagon of a freight train was completely derailed and another wagon partially derailed during a shunting drive on a railway site.

The accident resulted in the line being closed for maintenance work.
