Berlin (dpa / bb) - A signal disruption in the Berlin-Pankow area caused obstructions in the S-Bahn traffic on Thursday during rush hour.
Passengers should therefore bring more time and patience: According to the S-Bahn, delays and train cancellations are due to the disruption.
The S-Bahn lines S2, S8 and S85 are affected by the restrictions.
According to the information, the 10-minute cycle on the S2 can only be offered between the Lichtenrade and Nordbahnhof stations.
Trains on the S8 line only run between Zeuthen and Treptower Park and between Blankenburg and Schönfließ.
Between the Treptower Park and Blankenburg stations, passengers can take the S42 line with a change in Gesundbrunnen.
In addition, the S85 line only runs between Grünau and Schöneweide, the railway said.
According to a railway spokesman, it is still unclear when the disruption will be resolved.
