Demmin (dpa / mv) - Several people were injured on Thursday in a fire in an apartment building in Demmin (Mecklenburg Lake District).
According to initial findings, the fire broke out in an apartment in the morning and then spread, as a police spokeswoman said.
A firefighter was seriously injured while extinguishing the fire.
Several of the 15 or so residents who were taken out of the house suffered minor smoke inhalation.
Further details are not yet known.
