Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - The number of new corona infections per 100,000 inhabitants in one week has again decreased slightly in the southwest.

The so-called seven-day incidence on Thursday (as of 4:00 p.m.) was 186.3 (Wednesday: 188.8, Tuesday: 191.9), as the State Health Office in Stuttgart announced.

Compared to the previous day, the authority registered 3,594 new corona infections and 32 new deaths related to the corona virus.

This increased the number of proven cases to 443 059. The number of deaths is now 9340.

In 5 of 44 districts the seven-day incidence is currently below 100, in 14 districts it is below 165. If this threshold is exceeded three days in a row, schools have to close after the federal emergency brake.

According to the Ministry of Social Affairs, more than a quarter of all Baden-Württemberg residents have now received a vaccination (first vaccination: 25.2 percent).

In the case of the second vaccinations, the figure is 7.2 percent.

The country is in the midfield for vaccinations.
