“Kiev continues its policy of indulging Ukrainian national radicals, distorting the history of the Great Patriotic War, glorifying Nazi collaborators ... Followers of the Nazi-fascist ideology feel complete impunity and even support from the authorities in Ukraine,” the commentary posted on the website of the Russian ministry says.

Such a position of Kiev, according to Moscow, insults the memory of "all the peoples of the former Soviet Union, whose soldiers gave their lives for the future of future generations, including the citizens of modern Ukraine."

On April 28, in the center of Kiev, for the first time, the "March of embroidered shirts" took place on the occasion of the anniversary of the creation of the SS "Galicia" division during the Second World War.

Before that, the march was held only in Lviv.

The column was accompanied by a small number of policemen, about 100 people took part in the action.

Verkhovna Rada Speaker Dmitry Razumkov and the head of the Servant of the People faction David Arakhamia condemned the holding of the march by ultra-right radicals.

More information about the SS "Galicia" division is in the RT material.
