WORLD:

There is a lot of discussion these days about vaccination envy.

Could the feeling of envy be stronger than the vaccination skepticism and thus promote the willingness to vaccinate?

Cornelia Betsch:

Around 200 people who were vaccinated took part in our most recent study.

The under 60-year-olds of them report that they only talk to a few people about their vaccination - they also have to justify themselves more often and tend to have the feeling that they have pushed their way ahead.

We should celebrate every vaccinated person!

They show us the way to freedom.

I am amazed that so many people reject more rights for vaccinated people - even the vaccinated themselves.

WORLD:

But it would at least be a positive side effect if the envy of vaccinated people leads to more people willing to vaccinate.

Does this effect exist?
