Munich (AP) - Petr Ruman (44) will be the coach of the third division soccer team Türkgücü Munich in the new season.

The Czech ends his time as U23 coach of SpVgg Greuther Fürth.

The clubs announced this on Thursday.

He replaces Serdar Dayat in office at third division promoted Türkgücü.

His contract will not be renewed.

Ruman, who played 40 Bundesliga and 175 second division games for Greuther Fürth, FSV Mainz 05 and VfR Aalen, started his coaching career right after the end of his active career in 2010.

He worked as a coach in the youth team of FSV Mainz 05, FSV Frankfurt, SV Darmstadt 98 and the second team of Kickers Offenbach.

“We decided not to extend Serdar Dayat's contract beyond the current season.

Nevertheless, I would like to thank Serdar for agreeing to this short-term commitment at Türkgücü Munich in a difficult phase, »said managing director Max Kothny.
