Hamburg (dpa) - The second division soccer team Hamburger SV has also remained without a win in the fifth game in a row and has thus lost further ground in the promotion battle.
The team of head coach Daniel Thioune did not get more than 1: 1 (0: 0) in the home game against Karlsruher SC on Thursday evening.
With 52 points now, Hamburg remains third in the table behind VfL Bochum (60) and Greuther Fürth (57).
Simon Terodde put HSV in the lead after a penalty shot in the Volksparkstadion (56th minute), but Daniel Gordon practically equalized with a head (57th).
