Frankfurt / Main (dpa / lhe) - A car driver ignored the barrier at an accident site on a motorway in Frankfurt.
Since the 45-year-old behaved "extremely unruly" during the subsequent control, she was arrested and handcuffed to the police headquarters, the police said on Thursday.
The officials had secured an accident on Thursday night on the A66 between Frankfurt-Miquelallee and Ludwig-Landmann-Straße.
Despite the blinking warning beacons set up there, the driver drove her car into this area.
The officers found a clear smell of alcohol, the police said in a statement.
A blood sample was then ordered at the police headquarters.
"After the police measures were completed, the woman was placed in the care of her husband."
