The Paris Bourse ended up 0.53% on Wednesday, driven by the banking sector, while other markets were more wait-and-see, before a statement from the US Federal Reserve (Fed).
The flagship CAC 40 index gained 33.22 points to 6,306.98 points.
It even reached 6,320.11 points in session, a highest since November 2000. Tuesday it had ended stable (-0.03%).
