When the demonstrations against the corona protective measures began a year ago, a “we don't” rhetoric quickly established itself among participants and sympathizers.

It could be, it was said and is said, that right-wing extremists, conspiracy ideologues and aggressive networkers of the hateful resistance against the democratic order, also run along.

But you yourself have nothing to do with those people.

Then everything is fine, those who speak in this way can now be assured.

Because if they have nothing to do with those forces, it can only be right with them that the institution that is responsible for them is now concerned: The Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution will in future observe people and groups within the “lateral thinking” movement.

This will certainly make it easier for the demonstration participants who are allegedly willing to demarcate themselves to distance themselves even more decisively from those forces.

If that's not a pious wish.

Because in fact there is almost nothing to be seen at those demonstrations of demarcation. Rather, numerous connections to "Reichsbürgern" and various right-wing extremists can be proven with the organizers. There are repeated attacks against police officers from the crowd. Conspiracy myths are rampant among many demonstrators.

By claiming that the state is controlled by dark powers, they negate the democratic decision-making processes and imply the need for a system change under the leadership of those who want to have seen through the alleged conspiracy. Fantasies of a “Corona dictatorship” call the democratic constitutional state into question, many conspiracy myths are clearly anti-Semitic, and at the same time the Holocaust is played down when radicalized anti-vaccination opponents pretend they are being persecuted like the Jews by the Nazis.

From an ideological point of view, this is a new situation.

Many things tend to be right-wing extremists, but the system hatred is also borne by egomaniacal-esoteric fans of alternative medicine and anarcho-machos who do not want to put up with anything.

It is correct that the Federal Office developed the new category of “constitutional protection-relevant delegitimization of the state”.

Now all that is left to do is to show the participants in the demonstrations, who are allegedly unaffected by such tendencies, that they have nothing to do with it and only want to demonstrate against the protective measures.
