The distribution of food support in the three African countries began to target groups of low-income people, the poor and needy families, in cooperation with local partners for the 100 million meals campaign, organized by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives in cooperation with the World Food Program, the regional network of food banks and a number of humanitarian institutions. The start of the distribution of meals coincides with the 100 million meals campaign achieving its full goal within only 10 days of its launch after it received the value of 100 million meals from the donations and contributions that flowed from individuals, institutions, the business community and economic activities in the country in embodying the values ​​of the UAE keen to extend a hand of aid and relief Supporting the needy and the afflicted, spreading good, and mitigating the effects of crises, disasters, challenges and suffering for various peoples of the world without distinction between race, religion or geographical region.

Thirty countries

The list of 30 countries covered by the 100 Million Meals campaign on four continents includes Egypt, Sudan, Tunisia, Somalia, Senegal, Benin, Angola, Ghana, Angola, Sierra Leone, Kenya, Ethiopia, Tanzania and Burundi in Africa, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Palestine, Yemen, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kosovo in Asia. West of the continent

The food parcels to be distributed, equivalent to 1.25 million meals, will be distributed to the needy and most needy families in the Angolan capital of Onda.

East of Africa

In Uganda, in East Africa, the 100 Million Meals Campaign is working with the Ugandan Food Bank (Haba Na Haba Food) to ensure the arrival of food parcels totaling 1.25 million meals that will be distributed according to the data available at the Ugandan Food Bank to the needy and needy families. 

Multiple parties

The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Establishment is undertaking the distribution of food parcels for the 100 million meals campaign in coordination with the local authorities and charitable institutions.

While the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives is cooperating with the World Food Program to distribute immediate vouchers that are replaced with foodstuffs to beneficiaries in Palestine and in refugee camps in Jordan and Bangladesh, and with the regional network of food banks to distribute food parcels in a number of countries covered by the campaign.
